We caught mackerel by a picturesque lighthouse, hauled lobster traps, viewed seals, and caught a strip’ah. It was a perfect trip on a beautiful day. We highly recommend this tour and this captain.

John delivered: nice little tour of the harbor with some WWII history about the different forts, views of two lighthouses, mackerel fishing, and lobstering. Capt. John kept our three teenage sons engaged as he allowed them to hook and he pulled and measured the eight (!?!) lobsters from the traps. We were also fortunate enough to stumble on a group of porpoises and then swung over to seal rock for some additional entertainment. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, trip and guide to experience Portland’s Harbor.
