They also went fishing, saw an island full of seals, pretended to drive the boat, and went swimming. He answered tons of questions I had about the Casco Bay Islands, and took us to see some of the further places like Cliff Island, and some neighboring islands.   Wife and I booked a cruise through Casco Bay Adventures. Captain John took us around the bay for a couple hours and showed us all the interesting points from... read more nature to historical references of WW II. We also were dropped off to enjoy a dinner at Peaks Island while the Captain waited for us to finish dinner while the sun was beginning to set. We ventured out to also pull up a trap from lobster fishing and learned about the trade and conservation. When we were almost done, we stopped at the light tower for a great picture moment before travelling back to port. Captain John was a wonderful and informative host. If you desire this activity, Casco Bay Adventures should be your only stop. Enjoy! This trip would also be great for kids to see the seals and other marine life as well as lobsters.
