We saw light houses, forts, lobster traps, and islands in the bay. My family of 6 went on the tour. It was so much more personal than one of the bigger (crowded) sight seeing tours.   We had an absolutely fantastic time on Captain John’s boat this week. We were looking for a quick two hour tour hitting the highlights of Casco Bay and Portland Harbor... read more and Capt. John delivered: nice little tour of the harbor with some WWII history about the different forts, views of two lighthouses, mackerel fishing, and lobstering. Capt. John kept our three teenage sons engaged as he allowed them to hook and he pulled and measured the eight (!?!) lobsters from the traps. We were also fortunate enough to stumble on a group of porpoises and then swung over to seal rock for some additional entertainment. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, trip and guide to experience Portland’s Harbor.

  Captain John & Carmen took us out on Sunday afternoon. We were visiting with family who recently moved from Montana to Maine. We thought this would be fun for the... read more kids! They caught fish, pulled lobster traps, saw seals in the water, plenty of history and beautiful sights! I would highly recommend spending some time out on Beautiful Casco Bay. We left from South Portland at the Spring Point Marina. Thank you for such a memorable day!

The tour packs a lot into a short amount of time with minimal travel time between stops. The boat I is comfortable and the launch point is convenient to town. The whole thing was very well done.
